Position Overview: We're currently seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role involves working within a school environment, delivering vital speech and language services to students with diverse communication needs. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to pinpoint students' speech and language requirements.
- Develop tailored education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Administer direct therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions and methodologies.
- Collaborate with school staff to support students' academic and social progress.
- Maintain precise documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.
