Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the Junction City School District, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite position for the current school year. This role offers excellent benefits, competitive pay, and professional growth opportunities.
Position Details:
- Location: Junction City, OR
- Type: Full-time, Onsite
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Compensation: Starting at $49/hour
Caseload/Responsibilities:
- Casemanage: 19 students
- Serve: 60+ students (current number is 62, with notes on some needing to be exited)
- Schools Covered:
- Small rural elementary school (15 students served)
- Middle school (37 students served)
- High school (10 students served)
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student goals and accommodations.
- Stay informed of best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
