Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Escondido, CA.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) to join our team and support students with speech and language needs. As an SLP, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, including speech-language pathologists assistants (SLPAs), educators, and other specialists, to help students achieve their communication goals.
Job Description:
- Start: ASAP - EOSY
- Full-Time, 35 hours per week
- Elementary Age Levels
- Onsite only
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and small group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Provide training and support to school staff on speech-language strategies and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and provide strategies for home support.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings as needed.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Required: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Required: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (or eligibility for licensure).
- Required: ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and CFs.
- Required: Experience working with school-aged children, including those with diverse needs (special education, autism, speech/language delays).
- Preferred: Experience working in a school setting and familiarity with IEPs and school-based services.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for helping students improve their speech, language, and social skills.
- Must be willing to complete onboarding within the two week frame.
- Onboarding includes: Drug test, background test, and Fingerprints.
