Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Columbus, NE Area
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position within school districts in the Columbus, NE area. Qualifications:
- State Licensure: Must hold a valid Nebraska Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a background check as required by the school district.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students with speech or language impairments.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student support.
