Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Las Vegas, NE. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans to support student success.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Nebraska state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFs are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings to help set student goals and assess progress
- Stay updated on the latest speech therapy techniques and best practices
