Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) -  Hebron, IL

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Hebron, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives by helping them develop their communication skills in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language development.
  • Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
