Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Greeneville, TN. This is a school-based position, where you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support the development of communication skills that are crucial for student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet students’ specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective intervention strategies are used.
- Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for students.
- Offer consultations to educators and families to promote a consistent approach to supporting speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, therapy sessions, and evaluations.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to speech-language therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Tennessee State Licensure (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Passion for helping children succeed academically through improved communication skills.
