Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Start Date: Immediate, or as soon as possible
Requirements: Idaho SLP License, ASHA CCC-SLP (or CFY status)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Gooding, ID. This position involves working closely with students of varying abilities, including those with hearing or vision loss and multiple disabilities. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in fostering language and communication growth, collaborating with educators and support staff, and providing essential speech and language services to help students succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals and provide direct services to support speech and language skill development
- Deliver targeted support to students with hearing and/or vision loss, including those with multiple disabilities
- Work closely with classroom staff to reinforce communication strategies in the learning environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team-building within the school community
- Maintain clinical competency, ensuring evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
- Keep accurate records and documentation compliant with federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence with ASHA (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Active Idaho SLP License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
