Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Wolcott, CT, for the 2024/2025 school year. This full-time position involves working with an elementary or middle school population. The role requires a compassionate professional who is eager to help students meet their speech and language goals and work collaboratively with a team of educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to elementary or middle school students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Connecticut SLP licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Ability to work with both elementary and middle school-aged students
