Job Description:
Soliant Health is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Fillmore, California. In this role, you will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve academic success. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide detailed reports on student progress.
- Offer classroom consultation to support teachers in creating communication-friendly environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant records.
- Provide support and guidance to students with communication disorders, ensuring they receive the resources and accommodations needed to succeed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their communication goals.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.
