Position Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic educational team in Forest Lake, Illinois. This full-time role involves providing essential speech and language therapy services to elementary students (K-5) across multiple schools, addressing speech and language challenges that impact their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy to elementary students, working on articulation, language disorders, fluency, and other communication challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and implement individualized IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs.
- Track and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy methods as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert guidance to support the development of academic and communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP License (required)
- Experience working with elementary students preferred, but not required
