Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Kansas City, KS
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our partner school district. This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them achieve their academic and social potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language development.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional references are required.
