Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Chesterfield, South Carolina. This is a full-time, school-based position where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, providing speech and language therapy services to help students succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Develop and implement therapy strategies and interventions to address speech, language, and communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure students' progress and success.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide input and updates on student goals and progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including progress notes, therapy plans, and required documentation.
- Provide guidance and training to school staff and parents to support speech and language development.
- Work closely with the school team to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active South Carolina state licensure (or eligible) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification preferred (or in process).
- Experience working in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, students, and families.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for speech and language therapy.
- Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their full potential.
