Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Forks, WA
Duration: September 3, 2025 – June 16, 2026
Schedule: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Forks, WA, for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time position involves working with students from preschool to K-12, providing speech therapy, conducting assessments, and participating in collaborative team efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Administer screening and formal assessments to evaluate speech and language skills
- Write detailed reports based on assessment results
- Attend Child Team and multi-disciplinary meetings as appropriate
- Communicate and collaborate with parents to ensure involvement in their child’s speech therapy process
- Provide direct speech therapy to qualified students
- Provide itinerant speech therapy to preschool students, including those in Head Start programs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain complete and thorough therapy records in compliance with legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Washington State SLP License (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, including preschool age, preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
