Role Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them enhance their communication abilities. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals will be key to fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment: Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in students.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized therapy plans.
- Direct Services: Deliver therapy in various educational settings.
- Collaboration: Partner with educators and staff to support student needs.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of student progress and outcomes.
- Communication: Engage with families to discuss student achievements and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current Illinois licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
