Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing speech and language support to students, enabling them to enhance their communication skills. You will collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to foster a nurturing environment that promotes student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Create and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to individual needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services in a variety of educational settings.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet students' needs.
- Keep thorough documentation of student progress and outcomes.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student achievements and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active Washington State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
