Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Floresville, TX
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas State Licensure
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Floresville, TX. This school-based position offers the opportunity to work closely with students to support their communication needs and help them achieve success in the classroom and beyond. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a passion for working with children, and a commitment to improving the lives of students with speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students’ communication skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs and IEP goals.
- Provide individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective strategies for student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, therapy notes, and evaluations.
- Adhere to all state and federal guidelines related to speech therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Texas State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their development.
