Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Felton, DE. As an SLP, you will work with students to help them overcome speech and language challenges, ensuring they reach their full academic and communication potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students’ specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services focusing on improving articulation, fluency, language, and social communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Delaware SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Prior experience in a school setting is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
