Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Fayetteville, NC
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, North Carolina Licensure
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Fayetteville, NC. This school-based role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ speech and language development, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with various speech and language needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on improving communication skills.
- Monitor and document student progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, working with the team to create appropriate goals and objectives for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Valid North Carolina licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
