Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Farmersville, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive school environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of students by improving their communication skills and overall academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized therapy plans that align with students’ IEP goals.
- Provide direct speech therapy in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and evaluations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Texas State Licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
