Job Description
Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Byron, California. In this full-time role, you will work with both elementary and high school students, providing speech and language therapy services to support their communication and academic success. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse student population and make a lasting impact on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy for students with communication disorders, including articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication.
- IEP Implementation: Collaborate with teachers and the school team to create and implement therapy plans that align with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
- Collaboration: Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure students’ speech and language needs are met within the classroom environment.
- Progress Documentation: Keep accurate records of therapy services, monitor student progress, and communicate updates with the IEP team, parents, and teachers.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP License
Preferred:
- Experience working with both elementary and high school students in a school-based setting
