Job Description
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Banta, California. This full-time position will involve working with both elementary and high school students, providing speech and language therapy services to support their communication, social, and academic skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and make a positive impact on students' educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Therapy Services: Provide individual and group speech therapy services to students, targeting articulation, language development, social communication, fluency, and voice disorders.
- IEP Implementation: Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to develop and implement therapy plans based on students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaboration: Partner with educators, school teams, and parents to ensure consistent support for students’ communication needs in the classroom and across school activities.
- Progress Documentation: Maintain detailed records of therapy services, track student progress, and communicate findings with teachers, parents, and the IEP team.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP License
Preferred:
- Experience working with both elementary and high school students in a school-based setting
