Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Edgewood, Washington. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting. The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning and communication goals.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided.
- Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Washington State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
