Job Description: Join our committed team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Lincoln Park, Michigan. In this role, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to address speech and language challenges that impact learning and communication. We seek an SLP with a strong background in providing tailored speech-language services in a school environment, focusing on creating effective communication strategies and enhancing students' academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational needs.
- Deliver speech and language therapy in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication goals.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid Michigan SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with children in a school setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
