Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a forward-thinking school district near Livermore, CA. You will be working with young learners from PreK through 2nd grade, helping them overcome speech and language challenges. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to create significant developmental strides for children in their early years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in PreK-2nd grade.
- Develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, ensuring the highest quality of care and support.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster a supportive environment for students’ growth.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports in alignment with district guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure quickly.
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
