Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Delran, NJ (School-Based)
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Delran, NJ. This school-based position involves working with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve their communication goals and will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with articulation, fluency, voice, language, and communication challenges.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff.
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support students' communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid New Jersey state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
