Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Dayton, OH

Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time contract position in the Dayton, OH area. This role will involve working within a school setting, providing essential speech and language therapy services to students of varying ages and abilities throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication and academic success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
- Offer guidance and support to school staff regarding best practices for supporting students with speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Ohio.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
