Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Danbury, CT, where you’ll work in a dynamic school-based setting, helping students achieve their communication goals. This role is ideal for a compassionate and motivated SLP passionate about fostering student success through individualized therapy services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans aligned with each student’s unique goals.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
- Participate in the creation and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and adjust treatment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Connecticut SLP License or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
