Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Corvallis, OR
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Oregon State Licensure
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Corvallis, OR. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a school-based setting, providing direct services to students with speech and language needs. You will work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech and language skills to determine specific needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services, either one-on-one or in small groups.
- Track student progress and modify therapy plans as needed to ensure success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for each student.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of speech and language goals.
- Offer guidance and training to staff and parents regarding speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Oregon state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
