Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Chicago, IL
Type: Full-time, Contracting through Soliant Education
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with IEP teams.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school professionals to promote effective communication skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Illinois licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
