Position Overview:
We are excited to invite a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Charlotte, MI. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and overall academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs.
- Provide therapy in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Michigan State Licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in a school setting is beneficial but not required.
