This full-time, full-year position offers a wonderful opportunity to work with students and help them achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress regularly.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
