Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Central Falls, RI. This school-based position involves providing speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to help students succeed in their academic and social environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication issues.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and work with the team to set goals and objectives for students.
- Provide support and strategies to teachers and parents to reinforce therapy goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Rhode Island.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
