Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cedartown, GA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Cedartown, GA. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives by helping them develop their communication skills in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language development.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Georgia state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
