Part-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: San Tan Valley, AZ
Position Type: Part-Time (3 Days per Week)
Duration: Immediate Start – End of the 2024-2025 School Year
About the Opportunity:
We are excited to offer a part-time opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in San Tan Valley, AZ. This role involves working with diverse student populations in both a preschool and elementary school setting, helping them achieve their communication and academic goals.
The schedule includes:
- 2 days per week in a preschool program.
- 1 day per week in an elementary school.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in preschool and elementary school settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies that foster academic success.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations as well as school policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Current SLP licensure in the state of Arizona (or ability to obtain before start).
- Certification: CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred but not required.
- Experience: Previous school-based experience preferred; experience with preschool and elementary-aged children is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Position Highlights:
