Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Springfield, OR for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment, helping students enhance their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Therapeutic Intervention:

    • Provide direct therapy to students, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication abilities.
    • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective interventions.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' needs.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
  • Progress Monitoring:

    • Track and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
    • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and district policies.
  • Education and Support:

    • Provide training and resources to staff and parents to support students' speech and language development.
    • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current Oregon state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
