Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in a school setting in Camden, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication and educational goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEP goals.
- Monitor and evaluate students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support students' speech and language needs.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in New York.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
