Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Brookline, MA. This position is based in a school setting, where you will provide speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders. Your expertise will help enhance students' ability to communicate effectively, supporting their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals and strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure an integrated approach to student care.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of speech and language goals.
- Educate parents, teachers, and staff on strategies to support communication development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Massachusetts State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed in their communication development.
