Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Billerica, MA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a school setting, where you will provide speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication needs. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans aimed at enhancing students' speech, language, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet each student’s communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
- Track and document student progress, modifying therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure consistent support for students’ communication development.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of speech and language goals and objectives.
- Provide professional advice and support to parents and school staff regarding speech and language issues.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Massachusetts State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about supporting students in achieving their communication goals.
