Job Title: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Aurora, IL (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Caseload: Small Caseload, Two School Sites
Open to CFYs (Clinical Fellowship Year)
Position Overview:
As a full-time, onsite SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders. You will work across two school sites, helping students develop critical communication skills that support their academic and social success. This role provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a team of educators and therapists to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in a small caseload.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address each student's specific needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of therapy goals.
- Communicate with parents and families regarding student progress and provide recommendations for continued support.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to CFY candidates.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and dedicated to helping students succeed in their communication goals.
