Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Job Description and Responsibilities:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in Atlanta, GA, you will:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students' communication, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
- Provide direct therapy services, consultation, and collaborate with school staff and families to support students' participation in classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Caseload Details:
- Serve K-12 grade students with an average caseload of 45 students.
- Handle IEP and 504 minutes, attend IEP/504 meetings, and contribute to writing all speech components of the IEP or 504.
- Be an integral part of the MTSS team.
Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates should have:
- Georgia DPI certification.
- PEL with an SLP endorsement.
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Georgia state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Preferred experience working with school-aged children.
