Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Skiatook, OK. This full-time position spans the 2024-2025 academic year and involves working closely with students to help them achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reviews
Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
