Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - 4 days per Week
Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Shoreline, WA for the remainder of the school year. This position is open to both Clinical Fellows (CF) and those holding CCC certification. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced professional, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school setting, helping students with speech and language development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services as part of students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessments and student needs.
- Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions to support speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure holistic support for students.
- Document and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Comply with district policies, ethical guidelines, and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Washington state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Clinical Fellows (CF) and Certified Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC) are both encouraged to apply!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
