School Hours: 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM (Monday through Friday)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team, working with students in grades 6-8. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of middle school students, as well as providing individual and group counseling, conducting assessments, and collaborating with teachers and parents to promote a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with middle school students is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and collaborate with teachers to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) and interventions.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students with academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
- Support and consult with teachers and staff on classroom management and student needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide mental health programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with parents, school counselors, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.
