Key Qualifications:
- Certification: Candidates must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Education: A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required.
- License: Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state.

Key Responsibilities:
- Therapeutic Services: Provide high-quality individual and group speech therapy to students, helping them address speech disorders such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays.
- IEP Development: Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure students meet their therapy goals. Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate therapy goals into the students' overall academic and social development.
- Collaboration with School Staff: Work in close partnership with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support students' speech and language needs across the school day.
- Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Track student progress, modify therapy plans as needed, and provide regular reports to parents and school staff regarding each student’s progress and development.
- Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for students with speech and language challenges, ensuring they receive the appropriate accommodations and support to succeed academically and socially.
