Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Available in Berkeley, California
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Berkeley. This position provides a rewarding opportunity to support students with speech and language challenges, helping them succeed academically and socially.
Position Overview:
- Location: Berkeley, CA
- Employment Type: Full-time, contract, on-site in a school setting
- Compensation: $43 - $50+ per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Full-time, during standard school hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech and language abilities through detailed evaluations.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide well-rounded support.
- Track student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
- Offer guidance to educators and families on strategies to support speech and language development.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license and ASHA certification (CCC’s).
- Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
