School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – San Marcos, TX
Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a rewarding opportunity to support students in a school setting? We are actively seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team in San Marcos, TX, for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time position is interviewing immediately and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and overall academic success.
Position Details:
- Location: San Marcos, TX
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Contract Duration: 2025-2026 School Year
- Caseload: Approx. 57 students, ages 5-10 years old
- Compensation: Starting at $40/hour for qualified SLP-CCC applicants (SLP-CFs are also encouraged to apply!)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress reports
- Assist students in utilizing AAC devices effectively
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Texas SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially with ASD, Down Syndrome, and AAC devices, is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
