Speech Language Pathologist Position (SLP) - Hillsboro, OR
School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed near Hillsboro
Are you looking to step into your next role as a Speech Therapist? We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate SLP to join a school district near Hillsboro, Oregon for the current school year. In this role you will work closely with students to improve their speech and language skills while operating as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Position Details:
- Full-time, open to part-time candidates
- Full School Year
- Caseload details provided on an interview
- Duties are primarily evaluations & treatment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on each student's individual needs and goals, keeping documentation up to date
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to improve articulation, language comprehension, and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for each student
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and workshops to stay informed of the latest therapy techniques and best practices
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate and organized records, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required
