Speech Language Pathologist Position Available - Near Bloomfield, CT

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Bloomfield, CT. In this role, you will work directly with students who have communication disorders, helping them improve their speech, language, and overall communication skills. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support the students' individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure they achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Connecticut SLP license.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
