Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Ferndale, MI. As an SLP, you will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will help improve patients' ability to communicate effectively and participate in everyday activities, enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in individuals of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Provide speech and language therapy to help patients achieve their communication goals.
- Educate patients and their families on communication disorders and therapy progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
- CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical, school, or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
